Raffle Terms and ConditionsGalena Tech Corporation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization doing business as FeenX.org a middle and high school community robotics team in the Reno/Sparks area. The proceeds of this raffle are used to support the robotics team.

 

TICKET PRICE

​

The purchase price of a single raffle ticket is $1 each. Ticket bundles are provided as follows: 6 tickets = $5; 13 tickets = $10, 30 tickets = $20.

Credit cards are NOT accepted. Ticket purchases are not tax deductible. Each raffle ticket purchased shall constitute an "entry" into the raffle, and the person to whom the raffle ticket is registered shall be the "Entrant." The winning Entrant shall be the "winner" of the prize. Payment to or delivery of any prize will be made to the Entrant. The winner must supply identification, for validation purposes, before the prize is tendered. It is the sole responsibility of the Entrant to allocate a winning prize to other participants in case of a multiple entry registration, and the winning Entrant shall hold harmless Galena Tech Corporation, FeenX.org and its affiliates in case of conflicting claims or disputes among multiple claimants.

 

PRIZES

Prizes include baskets with wine, wine glasses, charcuterie boards, candles, camping gear, sporting gear, school supplies, hand tools, and various gift cards from local retailers and restaurants. What is included in each basket depends on the value of the prize listed here. The winner will receive one of the following prizes: 1st prize = $250 in value; 2nd prize = $175 in value; 3rd prize = $100 in value; 4th prize = $50 in value; 5th prize = $25 in value. If fewer than 2,000 tickets are sold by June 8, 2025, Galena Tech Corporation reserves the right to award prizes proportionally and equal to one-half of the collected ticket money in lieu.

 

DRAWING

The raffle will take place on June 8, 2025 at 8:00pm Pacific Time, and posted on https://www.feenx.org/raffle/ Tickets will be available for purchase until June 8, 2025, 5pm. The winner, if not present, will be notified within 5 business days. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address, phone and/or email address for notification.

 

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

 

Winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email to claim prize. Winner's ticket number will be posted at https://www.feenx.org/raffle/ within 5 calendar days of the drawing. Winning entrant has up to fifteen (15) calendar days of draw date to claim the prize. Winning entrant's name and location by city or town and photo may be printed in selected media. If selected winning entrant is unable to be contacted or located after a period of five (5) days from the draw date, the prize will be donated to treesRus.org a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Three (3) attempts will be made to contact the winning entrant via phone and or email provided by the entry purchaser.

 

QUANTITY OF TICKETS

 

There are two thousand tickets offered for sale.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Purchasers of raffle tickets must be legal residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older on, or before the purchase date. The Entrant must supply his/her Identification to receive the winning prize. Raffle tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable; all tickets sales are final.

 

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW

 

This raffle is conducted in accordance with gaming laws enacted and enforced by the State of Nevada, where Galena Tech Corporation is domiciled, and void in areas prohibited or restricted by law. Raffle promoters and or Galena Tech Corporation are not responsible for lost or stolen entries. Raffle entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Galena Tech Corporation, if attempts are made to disrupt the Raffle or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. If the above occurs, Galena Tech Corporation reserves the right to remedy any such action, disruptions, or circumvention in a manner determined solely by Galena Tech Corporation that is fair and equitable to Raffle participants. Galena Tech Corporation, its members, officers, directors, agents and representatives and their parent organizations, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (ii) failed, returned, or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner; (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties resulting from participation in this Raffle of otherwise; (iv) errors in transmission; (v) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Galena Tech Corporation that may cause the Raffle to be disrupted or corrupted (vi) any injuries, losses, or damaged of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Raffle; or (vii) any printing of typographical errors in any materials associated with the Raffle.

 

WAIVE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

 

Entrants release Galena Tech Corporation, and its respective board, committee members, officers, volunteers, employees and representative agents from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession of the prize. Any liability of Galena Tech Corporation shall be limited to the ticket price paid. In the case of a dispute, Galena Tech Corporation's decision shall be final. Entrant agrees to allow Galena Tech Corporation to use his/her name, and image without any compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle. Any and all addresses and contact information of the purchaser will not be released to the public.

 

TAXES, FEES, PERMITS AND IRS RULES

 

Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or other taxes associated with the prizes. FeenX.org will deliver the prize within a one-hundred-mile radius of Reno, Nevada at its own cost. Winner will be responsible for any or all delivery fees and/or are responsible for retrieval of their prize outside the designated area. The value of your winnings is considered taxable income. Please consult your financial advisor to discuss any impact on your personal taxable income. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in lotteries, raffles, or similar programs are not gifts and therefore, the price of entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
